PAX is pleased to announce the launching of a new program called Transformational Listening-Soul Care Companions. Through this nine month program, you will experience the gift of listening, grow in the art of contemplative listening, and develop the skill to begin and facilitate a Transformational Listening Group in your church akin to small group spiritual direction. (This is a wonderful opportunity for trained spiritual directors to come and be refreshed and renewed in their call.)
In his book Life Together, Dietrich Bonhoeffer says:
Just as love to God begins with listening to His Word, so the beginning of love for the brethren is learning to listen to them…he who can no longer listen to his brother [or sister] will soon be no longer listening to God either…
At the core of TL-Soul Care Companions is experiencing and learning how to listen to God, self, and one another.
